At Battle Creek Log Homes, we are proud to extend our exclusive limited lifetime warranty to all of our customers, covering a range of defective items and materials in each log cabin and home we sell. Read below for a full description of our log home limited lifetime warranty.
Battle Creek Log Homes will repair or replace any defective item(s)—which includes logs, beams, rafters, T&G, and log siding—at its discretion in conjunction with proper maintenance practices by the purchaser. Shrinkage, checking, warping, and twisting are considered natural characteristics of some wood species and thus are not covered by warranty. Other materials supplied will be covered by its respective manufacturers.
Battle Creek Log Homes shall not be liable for labor, installation, or shipping costs related to repair, replacement, or damages resulting from improper handling or assembly by purchaser or any agent other than Battle Creek Log Homes.
In the event a defect covered by this warranty is discovered during the warranty period, written notification explaining the exact nature and extent for the claim must be submitted to Battle Creek Log homes, 9955 Ladds Cove Road, South Pittsburg, TN 37380.
Your log materials must be treated with the recommended preservative within sixty (60) days of deliver and every three to five (3-5) years thereafter. Evidence of such preservative maintenance is required before a warranty claim can be honored. Battle Creek Log Homes shall incur no liability for any consequences or incidental damages caused by defective materials and have no further liability to be incurred by Battle Creek Log Homes, except as expressly stated herein.
